When empathy, love and kindness comes under threat, a plea is needed to be made to further afield for connectivity, community and support.
‘Suffolk SOS’ is an ongoing series of work (semaphore flags waved signalling SOS on the Suffolk shores), which since the Dunwich Heath fires of summer 2026, in context to the climate crisis denial of the Re***m party, takes on an additional meaning. Suffolk County Council brought in a Climate Emergency Declaration in 2019, which was rescinded by the Re***m majority and lead council in 2026, ‘Suffolk SOS’ serves to remind that the effects of human made climate change are still going to be experienced regardless of political belief.
